Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon: a couple of trailers

Pokemon Super Mystery DungeonThis morning, The Pokémon Company uploaded two new trailers for Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon. The first one is rather short (1 minute long), while the second one is 3 minute long and provides much more details about the game (though there’s nothing really new revealed in it).

It all starts in one of the villages, where Pokémon live (more or less) peacefully. There, you will get to meet various Pokémon, and by talking to them, you can accept quests. After that, you go explore dungeons with a team of Pokémon: you can find plenty of items in there… but also traps, which are hidden all over the place.

Of course, there’s also Pokémon to fight in the dungeons. While they are in “real time” (as in: you do not go to a separate screen), battles are turn-based with 4 attacks to chose from, just like in the mainline Pokémon series. If your team is wiped out, you will lose money, so make sure your team is in top-form when exploring dungeons.

Finally, the trailer shows how some really powerful Pokémon sometimes appear in the dungeons: you will have to defeat those in order to progress. In doing so, said Pokémon can even become your allies!

Head after the break for the second trailer!
