Pokémon news (September 18th) – Pokémon Shuffle: new challenges and levels, TV Commercial

Pokémon Shuffle

Today, a new update for Pokémon Shuffle went live (Ver. 1.2.17). It gives access to several new challenges and levels, for both the Nintendo 3DS and the mobile version.

  1. Registeel event: you have until September 23rd to catch it. It will be followed by Regice (available from September 23rd to September 28th)
  2. The Mew challenge: you have two weeks to catch it (until October 2nd). If you already have it, you will get a jewel by completing this challenge.
  3. Rayquaza event (mobile version only): you have until October 2nd to catch it.
  4. New stages for the Nintendo 3DS and mobile versions of the game.

Also, a new challenge featuring Mega Charizard Y went live today in the Nintendo 3DS and mobile versions of the game. It runs until September 28th, and allows you to get a Mega Stone for Mega Charizard Y. As usual, the reward you get depends on your overall rank at the end of the challenge:

  • Top 3,500 players in North America, Top 2,500 in Europe: Charizardite Y + Mega Speedup
  • Top 18,000 players in North America, Top 11,000 players in Europe: Charizardite Y
  • Top 25,000 players in North America, Top 16,000 players in Europe:  2 Attack Powers
  • Not ranked: a jewel

Battle competition

Registration for the latest battle competition for Pokémon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire are now open. Here’s the rules:

  • Double Battle
  • National Pokédex Ponly, with the exception of Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, and Diancie.
  • Groudon and Kyogre can be used.
  • Registration: until September 24th 2015
  • Battles: from September 25th to September 27th.
  • Reward: 1000 PokéMiles to all participants.
