Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! / Let’s Go, Eevee! – Latest trailers reveal the Pokémon League and the Elite 4

With a little over a week left until release, The Pokémon Company has revealed what is most likely going to be the last pre-release trailer for Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! / Let’s Go, Eevee!. This one reveals a key element found in all mainline games so far: the Pokémon League and the Elite 4!

Here’s the latest trailer (English and Japanese versions are different, as usual):

At the end of your journey through the Kanto region, after you’ve beaten all the Gym Leaders in the 8 Pokémon Gyms, there is one last challenge for you to tackle: the Pokémon League. Clearing it is the only way to become a Champion, which is the title bestowed upon the most powerful Pokémon Trainer in a given region.

To become Champion, you have to defeat the Elite Four, which are among the most powerful trainers in Kanto. You have to defeat them all in succession, without being able to take a break at a Pokémon Center. You will need to bring your A game to defeat them all!

As the name implies, the Elite Four is a group 4 powerful trainers:

  • Lorelei (a master of Ice-type Pokémon)

No one can best me when it comes to icy Pokémon.

  • Bruno (a master of Fighting-type Pokémon)

We will grind you down with our superior power!

  • Agatha (a master of Ghost-type Pokémon)

I’ll show you how a real Trainer battles!

  • Lance (a master of Dragon-type Pokémon)

You likely know that dragons are Pokémon spoken of in legends!

Here’s the latest set of pictures for the game, showcasing the Elite 4, but also Red, Blue, and Green that all make an appearance in this game!

Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! / Let’s Go, Eevee! (Switch) comes out on November 16th worldwide.
