Pirate Pop Plus releasing on Oct. 20th in Europe / North America, trailer, more

Looking for a game that provides a unique experience that’s both really unique and definitely retro-inspired? If yes, Pirate Pop Plus is the game for you! Developed by Dadako (a Japanese studio) and published by 13AM Games, you play as Pete Jr., who pops, shoots, and stomps bubbles to defeat the evil Bubble Pirate and save the townfolks. To get rid of the bubbles, you use a gravity gun that forces them onto walls or the ceiling.

By playing, you can earn coins, which can be used to customise the “Pocket Game” handheld console with faceplates, stickers, backlights, and even music. You can even add new characters for the game itself, if you want. The coins can also be used to play the Hyper Mode, a “aster, crazier and more difficult version” of the game, where you can earn even more coins.

Today, 13AM Games announced that Pirate Pop Plus will be released on October 20th in Europe and North America, on Wii U and New Nintendo 3DS. The best thing? You will not even have to chose, as the two versions will be cross-buy: buy one, and get the other free. No strings attached!
