Sound Effect Playback Fixes

Fixed an issue in “PATAPON” where the sound effect for a perfectly timed input sometimes failed to play, even when the drum command was executed with perfect timing.

Fixes for issues Arising from Extended Play of Specific Missions

Fixed an issue in “PATAPON 2” where prolonged play of the ‘Battle at Ekkora Oasis’ mission could lead to unregular game behavior, such as enemies ceasing to attack.

How to download updates for PATAPON 1+2 REPLAY on Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for PATAPON 1+2 REPLAY, you have three options:

let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;
