Nintendo Switch Dock Set (Dock, HDMI cable, AC Adapter) releasing on June 23rd in Europe

During the latest Nintendo Direct presentation, last month, Nintendo announced that the stand-alone dock would be released on May 19th in North America. In Japan, that same dock was released alongside Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, on April 28th. But what Europe, you ask? Well, nothing was announced until today, but we finally have a release date!

Today, Nintendo announced that the Nintendo Switch Dock Set will be released on June 23rd in Europe, exactly one week after ARMS. Just like in North America and Japan, the set includes the following:

  • Nintendo Switch Dock
  • HDMI cable
  • AC Adapter

Nintendo doesn’t specify the price of that set, but it’s safe to assume it will be something around 90€ (it costs 8 980 Yen in Japan).

Here’s some pictures:

NB: the second pic is from the official website in Japan, and therefore shows a Japanese AC Adapter. Naturally, it’s a European / UK AC Adapter that will be in the box in Europe.

With this Nintendo Switch Dock Set, you will be able to play on your Nintendo Switch on another TV without having to unplug everything: just take the main unit with you, and place it in the other dock. Naturally, you’re not limited to two docks: you can use your console with as many as you want, even at a friend’s place (since absolutely no data is stored on the dock).

The Nintendo Switch Dock Set will be released on May 19th in North America, and June 23rd in Europe. The Upcoming Releases page has been updated!
