Nintendo: schedule for the Splatoon 3 World Championship 2024 and the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe World Championship 2024
Next week-end, on April 13th and April 14th, two official Nintendo tournaments will take place in Japan: the Splatoon 3 World Championship 2024 and the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe World Championship 2024. Both were supposed to take place during Nintendo Live 2024 in January, but were ultimately delayed due to the event being cancelled altogether.
Today, Nintendo shared the schedule for the two tournaments (including the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Online Challenge Final Stage), which is as follows:
April 13th
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Online Challenge Final Stage
- Europe: 5AM to 6AM
- UK: 4AM to 5AM
- North America (ET): 11PM to 12AM (April 12th-13th)
- North America (PT): 8PM to 9PM (April 12th)
- Japan: 12PM to 1PM
- Splatoon 3 World Championship 2024 – Qualifiers
- Europe: 7AM to 10AM
- UK: 6AM to 9AM
- North America (ET): 1AM to 4AM
- North America (PT): 10PM to 1AM (April 12th/13th)
- Japan: 2PM to 5PM
April 14th
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe World Championship 2024
- Europe: 4AM to 5.30AM
- UK: 3AM to 4.30AM
- North America (ET): 10PM to 11.30PM (April 13th)
- North America (PT): 7PM to 8.30PM (April 13th)
- Japan: 11AM to 12.30PM

Reminder: both tournaments will be livestreamed on YouTube and NicoNico, with Nintendo Account holders having also access to a special “viewpoint-based stream” of the tournaments with footage from the point of view of each participant.
