Nintendo: over 21 million amiibo shipped, Software sales for Q2 2015-16
Earlier today, Nintendo releeased its financial results for the first half of Fiscal Year 2015-16, but also its usual list of million-sellers and best-sellers on Nintendo 3DS. But if you’re hungry for more sales data, including some for Wii and Nintendo DS games, but also amiibo, here’s some more! In case you’re wondering: the data below includes sales of games bundled with Hardware, but also digital sales via the Nintendo eShop.
amiibo
During a press conference, Tatsumi Kimishima revealed that total shipments for amiibo have reached 21 millions, and that includes 10.6 million for the current fiscal year (April 1st – September 30th). According to Chloé Woitier, over 800 000 amiibo have been sold in France, including 70 000 amiibo cards, since launch (last year).

Wii U
As mentioned previously, Super Mario Maker and Splatoon sold pretty well during Q2 2015-16, and are bound to dominate Wii U sales for the full Fiscal Year.
