Splatoon 2 and Super Mario Odyssey sales (Germany)

Earlier today, the BIU (Bundesverband Interaktive Unterhaltungssoftware) revealed the BIU Sales Awards for November. They are as follows:

• Platinum (200 000 units on a single platform): Super Mario Odyssey
• Gold  (100 000 units on a single platform): Splatoon 2

About Super Mario Odyssey: it received a Gold award in October, which means it sold another 100 000 units in November! Those are really strong sales, though not too surprising since the holiday season is in full swing (and Super Mario Odyssey was released in late October).

Karaoke Joysound

Christmas is just around the corner, and for those of you in Japan who want to celebrate it with some karaoke will be able to do so on Nintendo Switch or Wii U, thanks to Karaoke Joysound. In order to capitalise on this period, Nintendo is having a Trial Day just before Christmas, on December 23rd. From 10AM to 5.59PM that day, you will be able to sing without having to buy a pass!

And just before that Trial Day, on December 22nd, two special songs will be added to the songs cataloge:

• Jump Up, Super Star! (from Super Mario Odyssey, Japanese version)
• Girls be ambitious (from Nintendo Presents: New Style Boutique 3 – Styling Star)
