Super Mario Party
Here’s some more gameplay footage for the new River Survival mode in Super Mario Party, revealed yesterday:
Super Mario Party (Switch) comes out on October 5th worldwide. A bundle including two Joy-Cons comes out on November 23rd in Europe.
South Korea
Earlier this week, Daewon (one of the distributors of the console in the country) provided some additional sales data for the Nintendo Switch in South Korea. So far, the console has sold 135 737 units, with 270 245 units sold for games.
In Q2 specifically, sales dropped to 27 359 units for Hardware, and 62 893 units for Software, compared to 53 000 units for Hardware and 100 924 units for Software in Q1. Just like in Japan, April to June is usually slow period for video game sales in South Korea, but Daewon has high hopes for the rest of the year with Super Mario Party, Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! / Let’s Go, Eevee!, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
One thing to keep in mind is that those numbers are only for consoles and games distributed by Daewon, not total sales for South Korea as a whole.
