During Q1 2015-16, only one game sold over 1 million units worldwide: Splatoon. This brand new IP quickly got the attention of players all around the world, and has been enjoying great popularity all around the world. In total, over 1.62 million units were sold worldwide, including:

– 490 000 units in Japan alone
– 1 120 000 units in the rest of the world.

– New Super Luigi U (2013, was bundled): 2.26 million
