My Nintendo: Kirby Fighters Deluxe / Dedede Drum Dash Deluxe discount in Japan

My Nintendo was officially launched in March (March 17th in Japan, and March 31st in Europe and North America), but since then, Nintendo hasn’t added many rewards. In fact, there hasn’t been any since launch, with the exception of some Miitomo costumes earlier this month. There’s also going to be some Splatoon clothing items for Miitomo next week.

But today, Japanese users can chose a brand new reward: a 50% discount coupon for Kirby Fighters Deluxe and Dedede’s Drum Dash Deluxe, on the Nintendo eShop of the Nintendo 3DS. Of course, the discount works for both games, and you don’t have to chose one or the other. Obviously, if you already one of the two games, the discount will only apply to the one you don’t have (since you cannot buy games twice, or buy them for someone else).

This 50% discount coupon for Kirby Fighters Deluxe and Dedede’s Drum Dash costs 150 Platinum coins, and can be redeemed until May 10th. The coupon itself has to be redeemed within 30 days.

This new My Nintendo reward is obviously tied to the release of Kirby: Planet Robobot, which comes out on April 28th in Japan (next week). It’s quite likely Europe and North America will also get it, but sometime in June instead.
