Nintendo: Indie Highlights presentation announced for January 23rd
It’s now been over 4 months since the last Nintendo Direct, and it doesn’t look like there’s going to be one anytime soon (though of course, those are always announced at the last minute, making it hard to accurately predict when the next one will be). But that doesn’t mean Nintendo has absolulely nothing to announce… quite the opposite! Take this week for example: there will be a new Indie Highlights presentation on January 23rd (Wednesday)!
This new Indie Highlights presentation from Nintendo of Europe will… well… highlight some of the upcoming indie games on Nintendo Switch, releasing this year. It’s not clear which games will be showcased during this presentation, but one thing’s for sure: with how many new games are announced for the console on a weekly basis, Nintendo most certainly did not have trouble finding enough quality games to showcase.
Here’s when this second Indie Highlights presentation will take place, on January 23rd:
- Europe: 3PM
- UK: 2PM
- North America (ET): 9AM
- North America: 6AM
- Japan: 11PM
Like last time, the presentation will not be livestreamed like a Nintendo Direct: it will be available in full right away. And even though it’s from Nintendo of Europe, it will have announcement for North America (and Japan, to some extent) since pretty much all indie games release their games simultaneously in Europe and North America.
