Nintendo and DeNA hosting a surprise press conference today
Update: here is the livestream.

DeNA is the company that owns Mobage, a portal and social network for games on mobile platforms. You might think they have nothing to do with Nintendo, which still believes in dedicated gaming platforms and firmly refuses to release any game on smartphones, tablets and or online platforms.
And yet, the two companies have just announced a surprise press conference, that will start at 5PM JST and should last 1 hour. The CEO of the two companies, Isao Moriyasu (DeNA) and Satoru Iwata (Nintendo) will both be there, though we still don’t know exactly what they are going to talk about. The good news is: the whole thing should be broadcast live on YouTube, though no link is available at the moment.
Wow, DeNA and Nintendo just announced a joint press conference for 5pm today Japanese time. Both CEOs will be there (and so will I).

Before you ask: I am also not allowed to share the venue of the press conference. But it’s scheduled to take 60 minutes. — Dr. Serkan Toto (@serkantoto) March 17, 2015
Of course, it’s highly likely this press conference will be about Nintendo’s strategy to take advantage of mobile platforms in order to boost sales of Nintendo consoles and games (something that Satoru Iwata mentioned several times in the past, mosly during investor meetings). The company will probably chose to reveal its Mii-based app for smartphones, that was announced quite a while ago already.
