Nintendo: amiibo bundles, Nintendo Selects, New 3DS bundle for North America

The Summer holidays are in full-swing for kids around the world, and it’s well-known that the best period for playing games is… when comes the time to go back to school! After all, there’s nothing like a bit of gaming to make going back to school a bit easier for your kids… or for grown-up adults who don’t really care about school anymore and just want to buy some games and consoles on the cheap.

Nintendo Selects

On August 26th, the following Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games will be added to the Nintendo Selects range in North America:

Bundles

Nintendo also announced the following bundle for August 26th in North America:

• Super Mario 3D Land Edition New Nintendo 3DS: includes a (White) New Nintendo 3DS, Super Mario 3D Land (pre-installed), and two New Nintendo 3DS cover plates. It will be available exclusive at Target and Walmart, and will cost $149.99.

Besides the hardware bundles above, Nintendo will also release the following Wii U game + amiibo bundles in North America. They will be released on September 9th, and will cost $39.99 each.

Price drop

The Nintendo 2DS is already pretty affordable, but it’s just become even more affordable. From today, the Nintendo 2DS + Mario Kart 7 bundle only costs $79.99 (instead of $99.99). Add a Nintendo Selects title, and you have a Nintendo 2DS + two games for $100!
