Nindies Summer Jam announced, 5 titles available 10% off at launch

Next week, Nintendo will showcase some indie games at PAX West, during the Nindies@Night event and the event itself. But there’s more: the Nindies Summer Jam. It’s a series of notable nindie releases throughout September, with one per week. What’s interesting about those titles is that they will all be available with a 10% off discount at launch!

But that’s not all… the developers will also share video stories about their projects’ development via the Nintendo eShop. Said developers will also curate a shelf on the Nintendo eShop, highlighting some of their favorite games.

Unfortunately, there’s a catch: this Nindies Summer Jam promotion is only for North America, and nothing similar has been announced for Europe (even if some titles will get a simultaenous release in the two regions).

Here’s the list of titles for the Nindies Summer Jam:

• September 1st – Axiom Verge (Thomas Happ Games, Wii U) [out on the same day in Europe]
• September 8th – Jotun: Valhalla Edition (Thunder Lotus Games, Wii U) [out on the same day in Europe]
• September 15th – Noitu Love: Devolution (MP2 Games, Wii U / Nintendo 3DS) [out one or two weeks later in Europe]
• September 22nd – Severed (Drinkbox Studios, Wii U / Nintendo 3DS crossbuy) [NB: Nintendo 3DS will release at a later date], will cost $13.49 at launch
• September 29th – Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 (Inti Creates, Nintendo 3DS) [out on the same day in Europe]
