[N-Direct] Paper Mario: Color Splash – JP release date, more footage and screens

The latest Nintendo Direct presentation, on Thursday, was focused on Nintendo 3DS games, but in Japan, Nintendo did showcase one Wii U game… Paper Mario: Color Splash. And there’s a good reason for that… the game still didn’t have a release date in that country!

Therefore, Nintendo used that Nintendo Direct as an opportunity to reveal that release date: October 13th, which is more or less one week after Europe and North America (who get the game on October 7th). Paper Mario: Color Splash will cost 5 700 Yen + taxes.

But besides the release date announcement, the Japanese Nintendo 3DS Direct presentation was also the occasion for us to discover more gameplay footage. Nothing really new was shown, but more footage is certainly not something we’re going to say no to!
