Monster Strike: Yukinori Kitajima wrote the scenario

Earlier this week, we got some details and a release date about the Monster Strike game on Nintendo 3DS, with an official announcement from mixi the following day. And today, Jiro Ishii (scenario writer for the anime series, and known for 428 on Wii / Time Travelers on Nintendo 3DS) announced on Twitter that Yukinori Kitajima wrote the scenario for the game, which is based on the universe of the anime series.

For those who don’t know, Yukinori Kitajima worked on games such as Chaos Rings, Senran Kagura, Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies and more. He also worked with Jiro Ishii on 428, so it’s no wonder he wrote the scenario for the Monster Strike game on Nintendo 3DS.

Finally, mixi confirmed in a press release that pre-orders for Monster Strike would start this Friday (on October 2nd).

Monster Strike (3DS) comes out on December 17th in Japan.
