Monster Hunter XX: Detective Conan collab. revealed, more Brave Style videos, screens

Monster Hunter XX (Double Cross) is one of the games showcased in the latest issue of V-Jump magazine, and it looks like a new collaboration is revealed in there. That new collaboration is with Detective Conan / Case Closed, with two armours from the looks of it. Unfortunately, said armours are not shown, and we only get two silhouettes instead.

Also, Capcom uploaded the third and final batch of Brave Style x Weapons videos for Monster Hunter XX (Double Cross) today. This time around, it’s the following weapons that are showcased:

  • Light Bowgun
  • Heavy Bowgun
  • Bow
  • Charge Blade
  • Insect Glaive

Just like last time, we merged everything into a single video for your viewing convenience:

Finally, Capcom shared some more screenshots for the game. They showcase some of the areas to be found in the game, including:

  • the new base (located on some zeppelins), which is basically a flying laboratory. There are also some shops in there, rooms to stay in, a bar to meet other hunters, and more. You can also accept G Rank quests from there;
  • The Ruined Ridge: a new area you can only access thanks to an airship. You can find some ruins there. It’s located really high on a mountain, and you can look all the way down (make sure not to fall!)
  • Desert: a returning area from Monster Hunter. Living conditions are pretty harsh, which is why the monsters that have managed to survive there are pretty tough. Hunters will have to endure intense heat above ground, and cold air in the underground lake.

Here’s the latest batch of screenshots and artworks for Monster Hunter XX (Double Cross):

Monster Hunter XX (Double Cross) (3DS) comes out on March 18th in Japan.
