MHG Ghosts GoblinsLast week, Nintendo and Capcom announced that Monster Hunter Generations would be released on July 15th in Europe and North America. Both regions will get their own bundle, including a (physical) copy of the game and a special New Nintendo 3DS XL model.

And today, the two companies revealed one more trailer for the game. This one reveals a brand new collaboration, which hasn’t been announced for Japan yet (though there’s no doubt Japanese players will also get it). That collaboration is with the Ghost ‘n Goblins series, which should definitely please the oldest Monster Hunter fans.

By beating the usual special quest, you will be able to unlock Arthur’s Lance and Knight Armor from Ghosts ‘n Goblins. Capcom does specify that this equipment is not fully faithful to the original: it can endure more than one hit (this would make for a pretty hardcore mode, otherwise)!
