Mario Strikers: Battle League – First update to bring two new characters, new Gear, and a new Stadium
Released just a little over a month ago, Mario Strikers: Battle League is about to get its first Software update. Ver. 1.1.0 will be released on July 21st in North America and July 22nd in Europe and Japan, and will bring two new playable characters, new Gear, and even a new Stadium (official patch notes will be added to this page as soon as they’re available).

The Ver. 1.1.0 update for Mario Strikers: Battle League brings the following to the game:
- adds two new playable characters: Daisy (Technique Type) and Shy Guy (All-Rounder)
- adds new Gear: Knight (increases Strength and Shooting)
- adds new Stadium: Desert Ruin, with 4 design options

But that’s not all: Nintendo also re-confirmed that more additional content is on the way. Two more free Software updates will be released by the end of the year, adding more playable characters, more Gear, and more Stadium. Details about those updates will be shared at a later date.
