• Tired of pressing buttons to get back to the overworld from a waterfall? No problem, you can now just approach the ladders on the waterfalls in the underground to transition between the underground and overworld instead.
• Some slight tweaks to Darklord’s animations; no more clipping through his body when he raises his arms!
• We fixed the propeller hat; it now spins when caught in an updraft. Look at it go!
• Avery is much more fluent; she no longer misses out words like ‘doing’ when she speaks to you!
• We’re also aware that some of you have experienced loss of save data once you’ve loaded up the game again upon downloading the DLC, we’re incredibly sorry if this affected you. We’re glad to confirm this is no longer the case and has now been fixed.
• And for you achievement hunters out there, you’ll be glad to know that Jill will tell you where breakable rocks are in the underground when you use the ‘ask Jill’ gadget; she’s so helpful!

• adds New Game+
  • Using completed saved data from previous playthroughs, players can use their stacked toolkit and bracelets of power to customise their lil’ hero and wander the vibrant islands completing quests.
• adds ‘Baby Mode’
  • Accessible right away from the setting menu, players can climb, swim and glide the whole game as the rambunctious kiddo!
• adds new languages: French, German, Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish (Latin America)

• Fixed dithering on the title screen.
• Removed duplicate prep school kids.
• Fixed Lil Gator abruptly stopping whilst they’re walking into the sunset during the final cutscene.
• When you knock over Tony’s chessboard, the game now waits for any existing dialogue to finish before initiating quest-specific dialogue.
• Fixed character eyes and fairies not displaying correctly during the flashback sequence when Crunchy graphics are enabled.

Added Speedrun Mode to settings:

• Adds an in-game timer
• Auto attack swings at max speed
• Fast forwards through all text
• Limits framerate to 60 during dialogue, to ensure consistency between runs.
• Skips name input and instead gives player a name automatically.
• Added “automatic name” setting. Allows user to customize what name will be used.
• Added “customize time checks” submenu. Allows user to customize checkpoints for the in-game timer.

Tweaks

• At the end of the game, Big Sis is a little more talkative.
• Foliage no longer obscures the camera as much.
• Becca and Summantha give slightly more clear hints.
• When finishing hitting the rock for Susanne, it’s now slightly harder to accidentally skip the first line of dialogue that starts up.
• The portrait can now be picked up by interacting with it.

Bugfixes

• Franny will no longer forget to give a crafting idea.
• Junk Shop no longer breaks when using a special setting.
• Sam actually throws his pencil the second time.

How to download updates for Lil Gator Game on Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for Lil Gator Game, you have three options:

• let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

• try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

• select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
