LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Wii U / 3DS) to be revealed today

LEGO Star WarsDuring the night, a mysterious listing for LEGO Star Wars: Episode 7 was spotted on Amazon Italy (it has since been taken down)… this is most definitely the big announcement Warner Bros. was teasing yesterday. The trailer that leaked online shows that the game will be released on pretty much all current and previous-gen platforms, including the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS (but not the Wii).

According to the game page on the official Xbox Store, the game will be released on June 28th. Playable characters include:

  • Rey
  • Finn
  • Poe
  • BB-8
  • Kylo Ren
  • Han Solo
  • and more…

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens will allow players to relive the events of the movie, but with the usual LEGO humour. What’s more, there will also be exclusive content that “bridges the story gap between Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi and Star Wars: The Force Awakens”. Gameplay-wise, the game will feature:

  • Multi-Builds: you use LEGO bricks to open up new paths, and then break them apart to create more paths;
  • Blaster Battles: you can use your surroundings as cover.
