Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy – Deluxe Edition seemingly headed to Europe and North America

Back in October 2017, the Layton series made its comeback after a several year-long hiatus with Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy on Nintendo 3DS. It features a new protagonist: Katrielle Layton, who is none other than the daughter of the famous Professor Layton. It received an enhanced port on Nintendo Switch in August 2018 in Japan, called Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy – Deluxe Edition.

And despite this port not featuring any significant additional content, no western release has been announced so far… quite surprising, since most of the game has already been localised. But the good news is, it looks like we’re only weeks (days?) away from an announcement!

Yesterday, Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy – Deluxe Edition popped up on the website of the ACB (Australian Classification Board), pretty much confirming that a European and North American release is in the works.

It’s not clear when Level-5 will officially announce Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy – Deluxe Edition for Europe and North America. All we know is that it should receive a retail release (especially as the Nintendo 3DS version did get one).

Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy – Deluxe Edition (Switch) does not have a release date yet. The Upcoming Games page has been updated!
