Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn: overview trailer, footage, screenshots

Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn is an enhanced port for Kirby’s Epic Yarn (originally released on the Wii), and it comes out in exactly one month on Nintendo 3DS. As usual, Nintendo has shared the overview trailer for the game, showcasing the various new features, amiibo compatiblity, and more.

Here’s the Japanese overview trailer for Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn (English version should following within the next few days):

Also, Nintendo launched the official website for the game in Japan. Unfortunately, it does not feature anything really new, since this is just a port of the Wii game (not much to reveal!), and the new content was already detailed a few weeks ago (check out this post if you haven’t already!).

But thanks to this website, we now have some footage of the game, starting with footage of Kirby’s various actions in the game… including the brand new Ravel Abilities, the Copy Ability-like powers Kirby can use in this version of the game:

Next, there’s footage of the first 6 worlds found in the game (Grass Land, Hot Land, Treat Land, Water Land, Snow Land, and Space Land):

Finally, here’s some footage for the new content: the Devilish Mode, and the two minigames with King Dedede and Meta Knight:

And here’s a few screenshots:

Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn (3DS) comes out on March 7th in Japan, and March 8th in Europe and North America.
