Just like many other Nintendo games, Kirby: Battle Royale is getting various details, videos, GIFs, and more via an official Twitter account (in that case, the one for the Kirby 25th Anniversary account). Yesterday, Nintendo finally revealed the results of the Kirby Copy Ability Poll… or rather, the 5th and 4th places! The Top 3 will be revealed later today.

Reminder: the Copy Ability that ends up in 1st place will be added to Kirby: Battle Royale via a free Software update!

October 31st

In order to celebrate Halloween, the Kirby 25th Anniversary account shared a picture of some of the costumes found in the game. As you’ve probably noticed already, they’re all based on actual characters from planet Pop Star!

October 27th

Today, the Kirby 25th Anniversary account shared another screenshots for the game. It’s from the Story Mode, and it shows King Dedede plotting something, in order to finally beat Kirby. It looks like his plan consists in… copying Kirby. Literally, with a printing machine.

October 24th

Today, the Kirby 25th Anniversary account shared another gameplay clip for Kirby: Battle Royale, showcasing the Ice and Spear abilities!

October 20th

Today, the Kirby 25th Anniversary account on Twitter teased Meta Knight as a playable character in Kirby: Battle Royale. The thing is… Nintendo of Europe has already confirmed that Meta Knight was playable: you can transfer the save data from the demo to the full game in order to unlock him!

October 17th

Today, the Kirby 25th Anniversary account on Twitter shared some more footage for Kirby: Battle Royale. This time, it’s the Hammer and Fighter Copy Abilities that are showcased!

October 11th

Yesterday, the Kirby 25th Anniversary account on Twitter shared some more details about the game. It revealed that you can actually change the appearance of each Kirby Copy Ability. The picture below shows an example with the Sword Ability, which seems to have 4 possible looks… including a very papery one!

No doubt this feature was added to allow players to easily see which Kirby is theirs during multiplayer matches, when more than one player has given chosen a given Copy Ability.

October 9th

A few days ago, the Kirby 25th Anniversary account on Twitter shared some more footage for the game, showcasing the Parasol and Ninja abilities! There’s a total of 13 Copy Abilities in the game, including those two.

October 3rd

A few days ago, the Kirby 25th Anniversary account on Twitter shared some details about the Single Player mode in Kirby: Battle Royale. It’s called the Dedede Grand Prix, and it sees Kirby competing in order to become the #1… Kirby? Wait, how many Kirby are there?!

Well, it turns out that King Dedede is using a Kirby Printer machine to print Kirby… lots of them!

Kirby: Battle Royale (3DS) comes out on November 3rd in Europe, November 30th in Japan, and January 19th in North America.
