- Fixed multiple areas in Layers where players could get out of bounds
- Fixed multiple instances of certain enemies spawning in unnavigable areas of VISCERA
- Fixed rare cases of navigation blocking issues that occur after a layer phase transition
Goals and Scoring
- Fixed an issue where game time continued to update while watching the Ending Cutscene
- Players are now no longer able to mistakenly earn Challenge Badges on SEVER mode
- Equipment Goal UI now properly shows which active Goals are still achievable during a run
- Fixed an issue where the player could fail the “Speed Demon” goal by a matter of milliseconds
General UI
- Fixed an issue where the ‘Tutorial Complete’ text failed to align properly after completing any tutorial in Japanese language
- Fixed UI overflow on the Equipment screen for certain languages

- Fixed an issue causing leaderboards to constantly scroll even when there is no user input
- Fixed an issue where UI elements would be permanently highlighted

- There is no longer a slight delay when opening the settings menu

- Fixed an issue where dying at the same time as the Final Boss would soft-lock the game
- Fixed an issue where the player would spawn facing away from the Final Boss

How to download updates for KILL KNIGHT for the Nintendo Switch?
To download the updates for KILL KNIGHT, you have three options:
- let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off
If not…
- try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;
OR
- select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.
To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
