Japan: more sales data for Week 7 2020, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega 39’s (Media Create, Dengeki)
Here’s the latest Japanese sales data reports from Media Create, and Dengeki!
Media Create – Day 1 Sell-through (Week 8)
This week, we have the Day 1 sell-through data for a couple of multiplatform titles:
- [NSW] Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers (Atlus) (¥8.800) – 70%. A pretty good debut, though it looks like shortages are inevitable. PlayStation 4 version sold more, but with a worse sell-through ratio (50%);
- [NSW] Katana Kami: A Way of the Samurai Story <ADV> (Spike Chunsoft) (¥3.980) – 50%. A seemingly decent debut. PlayStation 4 version also sold more, and again with a worse sell-through ratio (40%)

Dengeki (Week 7)
Dengeki report that Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega 39’s sold about 55 000 units at launch, with a high sell-through ratio: 85% (SEGA has even had to apologise for shortages). In comparison, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone DX sold 35 000 units at launch (63 000 units LTD), and so this is a good debut for this Nintendo Switch game.
