Hyrule Warriors Legends – Character Trailer #2: King of Hyrule
Last week, Koei-Tecmo uploaded the very first character trailer for Hyrule Warriors Legends, introducing one of the new playable characters of the game: Tetra. And as announced at the same time, the character trailer for the King of Hyrule was uploaded just a few minutes ago, and shows us how this rather surprising character fights.
As seen in the reveal trailer, the King of Hyrule mainly uses a sail to hit enemies. He can uses various attacks with it, such as a tornado-like move that sends enemies flying. And of course, he can transform into the King of Red Lions, which allows him to dash on enemies, drop on them in order to flatten them, and more.

And next week, it will be Toon Link’s turn to get his own character trailer. And after that, it will most likely be Skull Kid’s turn to get one, though Koei-Tecmo hasn’t confirmed that just yet.
So far, the publisher is focusing on the new playable characters (which isn’t surprising since the returning characters will remain unchanged, and they already got a trailer with the original game), which makes us wonder what it will do once it’s done introducing them. That being said, it’s quite likely there’s even more characters left to be revealed.
Hyrule Warriors Legends (3DS) comes out on January 21st in Japan, and early next year in Europe and North America.
