  • The following options have been added to the Options menu:
    • Separate settings for Camera Controls and Aiming Controls
    • Automatic camera tracking can now be turned on or off

    • Certain actions would allow characters to enter areas they were not meant to reach, causing players to get stuck

    • In certain conditions, on the map of Hyrule, the game would suddenly stop taking inputs
    • When applying a seal in a specific order, the seal bonus would not apply
    • Players could be granted weapons they were not meant to get using an amiibo

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity – Ver. 1.0.1

  • Patch notes:
  • Added Spanish audio.
  • Fixed software issues, including the following problems:
    • Fixed issue where proceeding further became impossible after certain operations in the menu screen of the two-player mode.
    • Fixed issue where proceeding further sometimes became impossible when changing characters at a certain point in some of the scenarios.
    • Fixed issue where proceeding beyond the loading screen sometimes became impossible after defeating an enemy with a certain procedure in some of the scenarios.
    • Fixed the issue where the screen display got corrupted and controls apart from the HOME Button stopped responding after certain operations in the materials selling menu.
    • Repeatedly changing costumes would cause the game to become unplayable
    • In some tutorials, the buttons to press would not display on the screen
    • If you switch characters right after defeating an enemy, you may lose control of them when the effects of specific medals were activated.

How to download updates for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity for the Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, you have three options:

  • let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

  • try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

  • select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
