Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 getting English release in Asia this Summer
A few months ago, Idea Factory International announced that the European and North American release of several games (namely, the Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth trilogy and Death End re;Quest: Code Z) was cancelled on Nintendo Switch due to the games’ contents not complying with Nintendo’s guidelines.
However, all hope is not lost for players who were hoping to play Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 in English. eastasiasoft has announced that it has partnered with Idea Factory to release Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 in Asia this Summer. This release will feature both English and Traditional Chinese text, and Japanese and English voices.
Also, the game is getting a physical release, which means import will be an option for fans in Europe, North America, and other regions looking to play Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 in English. And if this release is successful, there’s no doubt the other Idea Factory International games denied release in the West will also get the same treatment.
Several editions of Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 will be available (with pre-orders kicking off on Play Asia on May 1st):
