Hades II: Creator’s Voice video now live
Last week, during the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct, Supergiant Games announced that it was bringing Hades II to Nintendo Switch 2 later this year.
And today, Nintendo shared the first video in its Creator’s Voice series (which features developers talking about their experience in creating games that take full advantage of the Nintendo Switch 2 capabilities), and it’s all about Hades II!
The Creator’s Voice video for Hades II features the following people: Greg Kasavin (Creative Director), Darren Korb (Audio Director), and Amir Roa (Studio Director).

Go behind the scenes in this week’s Creator’s Voice with Supergiant Games as they dive into bringing Hades II to life (and afterlife) for Nintendo Switch 2! Battle beyond the Underworld in this bewitching sequel to the award-winning rogue-like dungeon crawler.
Following the Duskbloods text article, “Creator’s Voice” will become a video series, beginning with a spotlight on Hades II coming to Nintendo Switch 2. In this bewitching sequel to the original award-winning rogue-like dungeon crawler produced by Supergiant Games, players must battle beyond the Underworld to vanquish the Titan of Time. Featuring influences from classical Greek mythology, Hades II will introduce players to the Princess of the Dead as they explore a bigger, deeper mythic world with the full might of Olympus at their call in a story that reacts to their every setback and accomplishment.
New episodes will be released every Tuesday until May 20th, at the following time:
- Europe: 3PM
- UK: 2PM
- North America (ET): 9AM
- North America (PT): 6AM
- Japan: 10PM

A new online series on Nintendo.com offers fans a peek behind the curtain at how its publishing and development partners are creating gameplay experiences that take full advantage of the Nintendo Switch 2 system and its capabilities. This series, titled “Creator’s Voice”, will feature interviews with game makers from around the world where they discuss the process of bringing their games to Nintendo Switch 2.
Tune in to “Creator’s Voice” for an inside look at what Nintendo’s development and publishing partners have in store and discover the secrets behind games and experiences coming to Nintendo Switch 2 following the system’s launch on June 5!

Hades II: Battle beyond the Underworld to vanquish the Titan of Time as the Princess of the Dead in this bewitching sequel to the original rogue-like dungeon crawler. Hades II lets players explore a bigger, deeper mythic world with the full might of Olympus at their call in a story that reacts to their every setback and accomplishment. The game is coming first on console to both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, taking advantage of the new system’s higher-definition display with responsive action at a target of 60 frames per second. Look out for more information about Hades II later this year.
Hades II (Switch, Switch 2 – eShop) does not have a release date yet, but is slated for a 2025 release worldwide.
