Black Kingdom

Fire Emblem Awakening had a “Casual” mode, removing perma-death: if a unit falls in battle, it will return to your party once you’ve cleared the map. Of course, this mode will be included in Fire Emblem if, which will also have an even easier mode called “Phoenix”. With this, fallen units are revived on the following turn.

This new mode should definitely help out players who aren’t too familiar with Strategy-RPG, but also those who want to get through the Black Kingdom’s story. Of course, once you’ve changed the difficult or mode, you cannot change it back, so you really have to think about it carefully before doing it.

The developers also chose to remove the weapon usage limit, which means you will be able to buy the same weapons as many times as you want, or pick up powerful ones without worrying about any limitations. All you will need to think about is which weapon is the best for each situation.

Next: some details about characters from the royal families. Thanks to abilities called “Dragon Pulse”, they can make changes to the very battlefield by building bridges, causing earthquakes, flattening mountains and more.

And finally, some “technical” details about Fire Emblem if. The game will have a total of 9 slots for your save data, and with the DLC scenarios, you can have up to 3 additional slots.

Finally, here’s the box for New Nintendo 3DS bundle revealed a couple of days ago by Nintendo:
