This year, the Fire Emblem series celebrates its 25th anniversary in Japan. Fans have been able to enjoy a brand new entry on Nintendo 3DS (Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright and Conquest), an orchestral concert, a rebooted Trading Card Game, and more. Various books (artbooks/fanbooks) were also released in the past few weeks, and there’s more to come.

Fire Emblem making-ofNext month, a “Making of” book will be released in Japan, on November 28th. According to the description on Amazon.co.jp, this book is a collection of never-heard-before stories about the development and evolution of the Fire Emblem series, with also a focus on Fire Emblem Awakening and Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright and Conquest.

It contains some interviews with the developers (300 000 characters), over 100 production materials (including some never-seen-before materials), and more. It is described at the “ultimate” book for the 25th Anniversary of the Fire Emblem series (no less!). Unfortunately, we don’t have the cover for it just yet, but you can pre-order it on Amazon if you’re interested (it costs 3 888 Yen, roughly 28€ / £21 / $32).
