Fate/EXTRA Record delayed to Spring 2026
Previously slated for a 2025 release, Fate/EXTRA Record (a remake of a dungeon crawler RPG first released on PSP) has been delayed to Spring 2026.
Type-Moon has announced that the game is going to need a little more time in the oven, which is why it was delayed from its late 2025 release window. That way, the developers will be able to further improve the quality and playability of the game.
Kazuya Niinou (who serves as both Director and Planner) also admitted that he underestimated the amount of time needed to complete the game (this is his first full-voiced title), though he’s confident in the quality of the game.

Fate/EXTRA Record (Switch) does not have a release date yet, but is slated for a Spring 2026 release worldwide.
