Famitsu: Top 10 most memorable games on Nintendo platforms

NINTENDO_LOGOFor its 30th Anniversary, Famitsu held a survey in order to find out which games its readers found the most memorable. Voting was easy: readers had to write down only one game per platform, and the one they found the most memorable (so not necessarily their favorite). And its the latest issue, released today, the magazine revealed the results.

One thing to note about those results is that they represent but a small fraction of all Japanese players: 2 921 ballots were received in total. What’s more, the typical Famitsu magazine reader is generally pretty invested in video games, and most definitely differs a lot from the average player in Japan (as in: person playing video games regularly, including kids, young women, etc.).

Here’s the results for the various Nintendo handhelds, transcribed by Kotaku from the latest issue of Famitsu magazine:
