Tricky Towers

Today, WeirdBeard Games announced that Tricky Towers was headed to the Nintendo Switch on October 11th. The game is now available for pre-purchase on the Nintendo eShop, with a 20% off discount (regular price: 14.99€). This version of the game includes the base game, but also all the free and paid DLC for it (five additional brick skin packs, four spirit animal characters and a special Indie Friends DLC pack).

Here’s a trailer and some details:

Tricky Towers is a frantic physics tower building game where your wizard character uses magic to stabilize your tower, or to undermine the structure of your opponent’s tower. The game not only grabbed the interest of over 1 million players worldwide across the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation®4, it has also proved popular with streamers such as Lirik, YOGSCAST, GameGrumps and Sodapoppin.

Tricky Towers is an easy game to get into, yet truly competitive when played in tournament format. It brings out all kinds of emotions from laughter to surprise and even a thirst for vengeance! While the game has a friendly appearance, make no mistake: it can heat things up in the living room when people get competitive, and the ice blocks won’t cool things down. With tournaments taking place across several different matches and game modes, there’s always a chance to make a comeback. Luckily you can practice anytime with single-player score challenges and 50 wizard trials!

Speed and precision are key in this whirlwind fighting frenzy, as players maintain control over the 26 different unlockable skills, frenetic gameplay, and classic kung fu-inspired animations.

If they hope to succeed, players must seamlessly switch between weapons without pausing in the frenetic action. With 700 different animations available, literally anything is possible—particularly when players unlock each of the 26 available skills.

Dusk Diver

A few days ago, JFI Games and JERA announced Dusk Diver for the Nintendo Switch (a “Bond and Combo Action game), releasing some time next year. Here’s a trailer and some details

In the concepts of mortal humans, the Gods reside in the sacred place named Kunlun.
The Phantoms, in the mortal imaginations, were born in Dimension of Chaos.
To mortal humans, the dimensions of the Gods and the Phantoms were distant but familiar.

Ximending, a crossroad of ancient and modern, where history and fashion intertwine; noisy and clamorous. And for that reasons, this place is full with endless vigor and also attracted the Gods and the Phantoms to set foot here.

As the time goes, the energy of different dimensions converges, resulting in an appearance of an unstable dimensional rift.
This unpredictable rift became one of the possibilities for the Dimension of Chaos (Phantoms) and the Human Realm (Human) to connect and to travel to the Kunlun.
For this, the troubled Kunlun has decided to vigorously intervene such phenomenon.

Thus, everyday afternoon from 17:00 to 19:00, so called the moment of dusk from the legend; is when the energy flows tend to become chaotic and violent. It is trivial for the Phantoms and the Mortals to enter the Kunlun realm unintentionally.
Therefore, the Kunlun has named such dimension as Youshanding.

Here’s details about two characters:

  • Yang Yumo

Senior high second grade, soon to face college matter.
Does not favor troubles, however, the harsh experience of the family has made her mind resolved;does not escape from things that have to be done.
Has no super powers of any kind, but rumor says her great great great great grandfather was an extraordinary spiritual power wielder.
Due to some random mishaps, the spiritual power has awakened inside her and granted her the physique that allows her to transform.

  • Weapon:Martial arts learned from TV.
  • Favorite Food:Ice Cream
  • Dislike:Troubles
  • Leo

Directed by Kunlun, a guardian stationed in Ximending, also in charge of handling local emergency matters.
To fit in with the locals better, he began to work part time in a convenience store as a mortal human many years ago.
Bold and heroic; virtuous and helpful, but with recent concerns on how to enjoy his order comfortably in a dessert store.

  • Weapon:Pile Bunker-Howling Lion
  • Favorite Food:Sweets
  • Dislike:Ants
