eShop News (Dec. 15) – Shantae: Half-Genie Hero / Plantera / Drop It: Block Paradise

Today’s Nintendo eShop News: Backers download codes for Shantae: Half-Genie Hero to be a bit late, but also…

  • Plantera
  • Drop It: Block Paradise
  • Mini Golf Resort
  • Koi

Shantae: Half-Genie Hero

A few days ago, WayForward announced that Shantae: Half-Genie Hero would be released on December 20th. But that’s for people who did not back the game on Kickstarter: those who did have already received a download codes… with the exception of Wii U players from Europe and Australia.

Indeed, it looks like the download codes are going to be a bit late for that region, but it looks like they should arrive at “any moment” now. In the mean time, WayForward is sending complimentary Steam codes to players who haven’t received their download codes for the Wii U version. Look out for an email from Backerkit!

  • Nintendo 3DS version: latest version sent to Nintendo for lotcheck, along with the demo version.

It looks like we could be getting a release date sometime in Early 2017!
