The Bluecoats: North vs South

Last week, Microids announced another game for the Nintendo Switch. Unlike the others, this one will only be available on the Nintendo eShop, in the first half of next year: The Bluecoats: North vs South. Here’s all you need to know about it:

One of the pioneers of strategy games is making a huge comeback with a fully remastered version for the Nintendo Switch! Plunged into the American Civil War, you take control of one of the two opposing sides. In this turn-based strategy game, you will have to master the rules of the board game to conquer territories occupied by the enemy, wage battles in real time, take part in high-speed chases on horseback, or defend your fort in mini shooter games. Playing alone or in multiplayer mode, online or locally, North vs South will delight fans of the genre.

SEGA Ages

The first two games in the SEGA Ages series on Nintendo Switch, Sonic the Hedgehog and Thunder Force IV, were slated for an August release, but as weeks went by without a trace of the two games on the horizon, it became clear they were delayed.

And today, SEGA announced that they were indeed delayed, to September to be precise, in order to further increase the quality of the two games. The exact release date is still TBC, and it’s not clear whether this delay will have an impact on the other SEGA Ages announced.

SEGA Ages Sonic the Hedgehog and SEGA Ages Thunder Force IV (Switch – eShop) come out in September in Japan.

Mercenaries Wings: The False Phoenix

Here’s the latest two character profiles for Mercenaries Wings: The False Phoenix:

General Ludwig

A leader in the Royal Army, he is a son of distinguished nobles and well versed in combat. Boasts of his skills as a spearman, but can be aloof and arrogant.

Commander Kane

Leads the Crimson Bird Mercenaries; at his peak was known as Crimson Flash due to unparalleled sword skills. Has hung up his crimson cloak but still manages the operations of his group.

Mercenaries Wings: The False Phoenix (Switch – eShop) comes out later this year worldwide.
