Earlier this week, a brand new trailer for The Escapists 2 was revealed. This one focuses on multiplayer, one of the main new features of this “sequel” (and by far the most requested one by fans).
The multiplayer experience in The Escapists 2 will be as seemless as possible, with drop-in drop-out capability. The game will offer several game modes, such as co-op, and VS. What’s more, you will be able to escape together with your friends either via local multiplayer or online.
On Nintendo Switch specifically, you will be able to play with up to 4 players online, and up to two players via split screen.
Also, it turns out that the entire campaign of the game can be played either in solo or with friends, which is pretty good news for players who like co-op: they will not be stuck with limited maps and/or levels, for example. It will be the same experience as in single player, but with friends. And who knows, you might find way to escape that you could not pull off on your own!
Here’s the latest trailer for The Escapists 2, showcasing multiplayer:
The Escapists 2 (Switch) does not have a release date yet, but is scheduled to be released later this year in Europe and North America.
