Manor Update

I. Farm Collection feature is now live

1. After this maintenance update, Eggies will have the chance to obtain Farm collectibles when working in the Farm.

2. The properties and acquisition methods of collectibles can be viewed in the Farm Warehouse.

3. The acquisition of collectibles is related to Eggy’s continuous activity in the Farm. Frequent actions within the same day will not increase the probability of obtaining collectibles.

II. Special Fish Update

Delisted special fish “Giant Puffer Fish” and “Monkfish”; added special fish “Bone Shark” and “Hammerhead”

III. Sky Ball Switching Feature Optimization

To make it easier for Eggies to switch Sky Balls and view their effects, we have moved the Sky feature from the decoration menu to the Farm Appearance section

Manor Update

I. Intensity Adjustment

To provide players with more Intensity to work with, we have optimized the display of distant units in the Manor and increased the Intensity gained with each upgrade after Manor Lv. 3.

 

II. Custom Fish Edit Optimization

1. Optimized the orientation of Eggy during custom fish editing to match the actual fish holding effect.

2. To make the photos taken by players more aesthetically pleasing, we have hidden the lines on accessories.

 

III. Custom Fish Manor

The Visit Manor interface has added a Custom Fish entrance. Come and catch the custom fish that you love!

I. Manor Channel Switching Issue Repair

Fixed the issue where switching channels in the Manor had a chance to fail.

Cherry Blossom Season

I. Camping, Picnicking, and Meteor Shower!

Event Time: 4 Apr, 00:00 – 24 Apr, 23:59 (UTC+8)

1. Every night from 20:00 to 21:00 and 23:00 to 23:59, you can see a meteor shower in the open area in front of the Ferris wheel. Watch it with your Eggy friends!

2. The Worker Eggies have set up a large campsite for everyone, complete with tents and cooking utensils. Gather ingredients to make your favorite dishes, and invite a few friends to relax and enjoy spring together!

3. Looks like you can fish in front of the waterfall in the Campsite! Fish obtained here can also be used for cooking. Compete with your Eggy friends to see who can catch more!

4. Q’s Reminder: There seems to be something strange affecting the food. Please pay attention to food safety, and make sure the food is fully cooked before eating.

A map button has been added during the preparation phase. Players can check the map to view their and their teammates’ spawn locations, allowing for more strategic role selection and lineup adjustments.

(2) Added bot mode notice

When players go AFK and enter bot mode or end bot mode, a “bot mode” icon will appear above their heads to notify teammates, helping players better understand their teammates’ actual status and make correct decisions.

(3) Added Survivor identity name display above their heads, making it easier to identify them

Workshop Update

I. New “Eggy Sketch” Function

1. The brand new feature “Eggy Sketch” is officially launched in the Workshop! Now, all Builders can unleash their creativity by creating unique facial expressions for Creature Eggs and Eggy in pixel art style!

2. This feature is now fully open for trial, available to all players. Builders, come and try it out!

3. Eggy Face submissions that failed review can now be edited and posted again.

 

II. New “Terrain” Unit

1. The “Terrain” unit in the Workshop is now fully available, allowing Builders more creative freedom when setting terrain heights and texture displays!

2. A new feature “Unit Follows Terrain Height” has been added to Operation Assistance. When enabled, units above the terrain will maintain a relative distance when drawing terrain.

3. In Terrain Drawing Mode, new display & hide unit functions have been added.

 

III. “Multi-stage” is Here

The “Multi-stage” feature allows Builders to create modes that include multiple stage maps, enabling players to switch and traverse between multiple stages during gameplay!

1. After reaching 10,000 Builder Points, Builders can enter the Multi-stage management interface from Features – Stage Management to add and edit stages.

2. Added “Stage Switch Volume” unit, which can be configured to jump to the target stage upon entering the volume.

3. Added multi-stage related blocks: “stage initialization,” “specified player enters current stage,” “initiate vote to switch stage.”

 

IV. Action Generation Updates

1. The Action Creation feature now supports importing data from Official Actions and Video Actions as base for your creation, eliminating the need to start from scratch!

2. Eggy creatures now support full scale adjustments to their root bone in Action Creation.

3. Experience Optimization: Added “Camera Orientation” settings to adjust the camera direction during editing for convenience.

1. Added vibration-related block: “player device vibration,” allowing the phone to vibrate at different levels and intervals.

2. Added gyroscope block: “set player gyroscope monitoring status.”

3. Added “Organize Canvas” function: In organized mode, blocks will be sorted according to trigger order for clearer viewing and editing.

 

VI. Sky and Color Filter Function Updates

New features “Save as Template” and “Apply Template” have been added to Sky, Color Filter, and their corresponding switchers and Eggy Code blocks, allowing you to save set property values for use in other switchers and maps.

 

VII. UI Editor Updates

New feature widget “Map” can display the player’s location in a specified area. An aerial image of the area will be generated for the widget. You can also manually set an image for the widget to display.

 

VIII. Story Animation Update

The “Subtitles” track segments now support setting properties like “Outline,” “Projection,” and “Comment,” allowing for more varied presentation and achieving bullet comment effects.

 

IX. Other Optimizations and Adjustments

1. Combine Units Optimization: Now, when modifying the Material Parameter Settings of the parent unit, the parameters of the subunits will be modified simultaneously; you can also set the material parameters of the parent unit separately in the Combine Subunits interface.

2. New feature unit: “Screen Portal,” which allows you to see the other side of the portal in real-time. Eggy and Objects will inherit their orientation and speed upon entering the portal.

3. New gameplay unit: “Ladder”. Eggies can climb the ladder by approaching it. You can customize climbing speed and jump height.

4. The “Sky Light Switcher” now includes a “Shadow Weakening” property, which can be used to set shadow intensity.

5. Components of the same type such as “Creatures,” “Vehicle Wheel,” and “Spawner” now share a quantity limit in the map. For example, the total quantity limit for “Creature” units in the map is 100.

1. Due to the closure of Summer Sonic Island, players no longer need to complete the goal to obtain the Calling Machine. Simply complete the and goals to get it! II. Sub-island Adjustments & Optimizations

New Identities: Outlaw Egg, Investigator Egg, Scale Egg

Outlaw Egg: Possesses the unique skill “Wild Beatdown.” When the Outlaw Egg accumulates 3 votes in a party with less than 10 players, or 4 votes in a party with 10 or more players, the skill can be unlocked. Once unlocked, the skill is permanent, but its cooldown is longer than the regular KO.

Investigator Egg: Possesses the skill “Eavesdrop.” After activating the skill, it can hear other players’ voice from farther away, the range of which is shown on the mini-map. When the Investigator Egg hears a player’s voice, it can sense the general location of the speaking player.

Scale Egg: Possesses the skill “Balance.” During each meeting, it can choose a player to reduce their votes by 1 during the voting phase. If no one votes, the chosen player remains at 0 votes. When there are three meetings in a match without any players being exiled, the Scale Egg wins.

Clue Egg uses a skill on a KO’d player to view the killer’s footprints.

Tricky Egg uses a skill to mark a player, making them who you report as for your next active report.

At the start of each round, the Prophet can predict how many Eggies will be KO’d before the meeting. Successfully predict this three times to win!

Forced Transformation: At random times during the match, the Seekers will close their eyes, and the Hiders will be forced to transform once.

Reveal: Once the party is over, show the position and disguise of a random Hider who was not found.

The Item Equipment System introduces a new way to display item usage, allowing items to be truly equipped and used. With this system, you can create firearms, weapons, and other entities to “equip” and “use”!

The following are function updates related to item equipment:

1. Item Related

> A new “Selected State” has been added. Tapping an item slot will activate the selected state, and new related function Eggy Codes have been introduced.

> New properties have been added: “Eggy Display When Item Is Selected” and “Holding Animation Display”. These allow you to edit the mounted units and animation display on the Eggy when the item is selected.

> New property “Stacking Type” has been added, along with chargeable items, and the “Initial Stacks” property.

> A set of firearm item prefabs has been added. You can use the prefab effects as a reference to create your own item equipment.

【Eggyverse & Workshop Updates】

• I. Eggyverse Discover Update
  • 1. Added a new map leaderboard, where you can filter by tags such as “New,” “Popular,” and “Original” to view the daily trending maps.
  • 2. Optimized the Trending Worldwide leaderboard. You can switch between “Global” and “Region” buttons to experience the charm of creators from different regions.
• II. Story Animation Update
  • 1. The “Video Camera” track will directly display the camera entity in the scene, allowing for quick track selection and previewing the camera’s position during playback.
  • 2. Added an “Aimed Video Camera” track. After setting an entity of another track as the target, the camera will always look at that target.
  • 3. The “Video Camera” type track has a new “Follow” sub-track, allowing the camera to follow the movement of entities on other tracks for a period of time, with the camera’s position offset relative to the followed target.
  • 4. The “Actor” track’s action segments can now select custom actions created through the “Action Generation” function.
  • 5. Added a display track function. After selecting a track, it will show the motion trajectory of its entity.

    • 1. Eggy Bomb: Added a “Irritable” mechanic. After 1s of skill activation, it enters a “Irritable” state, where colliding with an enemy will prematurely end the countdown and detonate the bomb immediately.
    • 2. Snowball: Snowball rolling speed increased by 15%, duration extended by 2s, and cooldown reduced by 1s.
    • 3. Gravity Bomb: The flight speed of the Gravity Bomb has been increased by 15%. The effect radius has been increased by 0.5 meters. The attraction after detonation has been increased by 10%. The mass deducted from attracted players has been increased by 50%.
  • Weakened:
    • 1. Eggy Strike: Movement Speed and Displacement Distance reduced by 20%.

How to download updates for Eggy Party for the Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for Eggy Party, you have three options:

• let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

• try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

• select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
