Dragon Quest VII: more footage, screenshots, interview

In less than 48h, Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past will finally be available in Europe and North America. Why not check out some more gameplay footage for the game while you wait for the game to be available (in stores or on the Nintendo eShop)?

It tackles various topics, including whether or not the size and scale of the game was an issue when remaking it for the Nintendo 3DS, how much RPGs have changed since the release of the original version, Nintendo’s involvement in the localisation, and more.

The sheer translation volume of Dragon Quest VII is more than 2 times Dragon Quest V, so it’s a gigantic game. It was really hard to make the business decision to localize the game. With Nintendo, we were able to work it out and work hand-in-hand and make it happen together. To be completely blunt, it’s like Nintendo took half of the bill!
