Disney Infinity 3.0: D23 news, Japanese release in November
D23 2015
During the D23 2015 event, this week-end, several announcements for Disney Infinity 3.0 were made. First of all, a Marvel Battlegrounds was announced: it will feature four-player gameplay, and two new characters (Hulkbuster and Ultron, who can make make copies of himself and control rocks).There will also be a Star Wars: The Force Awakens, with Daisy Ridley John Boyega, and more.
Several characters/figures were announced/confirmed:
– Peter Pan
– Olaf
– Mulan
– Mickey
– Minnie
– Sam Flynn
– Quorra
– Spot (The Good Dinosaur), with 4 power discs based on the movie
– Judy Zootopia)
– Nick (Zootopia)
– special Star Wars figures with a light saber illuminating when placed on the Infinity Base
Finally, it was announced that the Keyblade from Kingdom Hearts would be in Disney Infinity: to get it, players will need to… buy all the figurines. Talk about an expensive key!

Japanese release
Today, Disney Interactive announced that Disney Infinity 3.0 would also come out in Japan, on November 12th. Just like Europe and North America, the game will launch with a Star Wars Starter Pack.
Disney Infinity 3.0 (Wii U) comes out on August 28th in Europe, August 30th in North America, and November 12th in Japan.
