Good Shepherd Entertainment have announced that Black Future ’88 will be released on November 21st in Europe and North America. A retail release will follow sometime in 2020.

Here’s the latest trailer and some more details about the game:

Set in a grim alternate history where it’s always 1988, Black Future ‘88 puts players on a non-stop dungeon-crawling ascent against homicidal robots, cutthroats, bosses and more to exact revenge on the man who destroyed the world. As one of the last remaining survivors of a nuclear cataclysm, you’ll climb a procedurally generated tower through a merciless onslaught of fire, lasers and steel.

The only way to kill your mark before your heart explodes is strategically choosing and combining dozens of unique guns, buffs and curses. Choose from several characters with a huge arsenal of weapons and powers as you shoot, slash and dash through anything standing between you and the top of the world.

Survive this nightmarish neon-lit retro dystopia alone or with a friend in two-player local co-op, then measure your mettle against other players by taking on special daily challenges to scale the global leaderboard.

Black Future ’88 (Switch – eShop) comes out on November 21st in Europe and North America (digital), and in 2020 in Europe and North America (retail). The Upcoming Games page has been updated!

Draw Distance have announced that pre-orders for Ritual: Crown of Horns will go live on the Nintendo eShop on November 1st in Europe (there will be no pre-purchase in North America).

Here’s the latest videos for the game, along with some more details, and some screenshots:

Manage your time and resources wisely. Traverse levels in the blink of an eye with a powerful dash. Use power-ups conjured by the Witch to protect barricades that halt the enemy advance. Rely on a unique auto-aim mechanic to ensure your shots always hit the target. Gather the souls of your fallen enemies and use them to purchase magic gadgets, like a murderous summoned Gatling gun. Don’t worry if you fall – optimize your selection of guns and inventory and try again, stronger than ever. Defend the Witch who brought you back from the grave, meaning you’re no longer a rotting, stinking, defenseless lump of flesh. Now you can finally focus on taking revenge on your foes.
