Sports Party

Today, Ubisoft finally announced Sports Party for the Nintendo Switch (after it leaked via the Korean rating board). As expected, it’s a party game featuring several sports: basketball, Frisbee, golf, Jet Ski, beach tennis, and skateboarding. It will be released on October 30th in Europe and North America.

Sports Party will be available on October 30th 2018 on Nintendo Switch. Sea and Sun Sports are now within reach, accessible to anyone, everywhere! Sports Party takes you to the seaside where the beach meets the mountain to discover 6 outdoor sports. Dragon Ball FighterZ

Bandai-Namco has revealed yet another DLC character for Dragon Ball FighterZ: Android 17 (Super). His moveset video will be revealed tomorrow, but in the mean time, here’s some screenshots:

Unfortunately, it’s not clear when this new DLC character will be released, and if it will be available at launch on Nintendo Switch…

Dragon Ball FighterZ (Switch) comes out on September 27th in Japan, and September 28th in Europe and North America.

Battle Princess Madelyn

Earlier this week, 3 g o o announced that Causal Bit Games’ Battle Princess Madelyn will be released on December 20th in Japan. The game will be available on the Nintendo eShop (price: 2 200 Yen), but also at retail (price: 3 200 Yen). Unfortunately, that retail release will be a Japan exclusive, but it will offer an English language option, which means that players will be able to import it if they really want a physical copy of the game.

Battle Princess Madelyn (Switch) comes out on December 20th in Japan. No release date for Europe or North America yet. The Upcoming Games page has been updated!

Rocket League

Earlier this week, Psyonix announced that the next set of DLC for Rocket League will be released on September 24th worldwide. It’s the Hot Wheels Triple Threat DLC Pack, and it will cost $5.99.

Here’s what’s included in this DLC Pack:

  • Three Premium Battle-Cars: Gazella GT, MR11, and Fast 4WD
  • Four unique decals for each of the premium Battle-Cars
  • Gorilla, Snake, and Spider Toppers

But that’s not all! Some free DLC will also go live at the same, celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Hot Wheels:

  • New Hot Wheels Rivals Arena
  • Hot Wheels 50th Anniversary-themed customization items

Finally, Psyonix has announced the release of the physical Hot Wheels Rocket League 5-Pack in mid-October, worldwide. It includes the following toys: Gazella GT, MR11, Fast 4WD, Bone Shaker, and Twin Mill III Battle-Cars. They will come with a serial code to unlock exclusive in-game DLC items!

SNK 40th Anniversary Collection

Earlier this week, NIS America revealed two more games for the SNK 40th Anniversary Collection:

  • Street Smart

This 1989 beat’em up classic is all about throwing down your best fighting moves and claiming all the glory. Players can fight in eight directions with two unique fighting styles. Pick between the quick hitting moves of “Karate-man,” or the walloping hits of “Wrestler!”

  • Prehistoric Isle

Originally released in 1989, Prehistoric Isle features two pilots who explore an island, where many planes have disappeared, to discover a whole world full of unexpected discoveries! This horizontal shooter will take you on a trip to the era of Dinosaurs!

SNK 40th Anniversary Collection (Switch) comes out on November 13th in North America, and November 16th in Europe.
