Today’s Daily Briefs (Round 2): update for co-op in Cave Story+ sent to Nintendo for lotcheck, but also…
- De Mambo
- League of Evil
- NBA 2K18
- Portal Knights
- Tool Assisted Speedrun
Yesterday, Nicalis announced that the second update for Cave Story+, adding co-op, is finally ready, and has been sent to Nintendo of America for lotcheck. If everything goes well, the update should be available in the next few weeks! Unfortunately, it’s not clear if Europe will get the update on the same day or not.

Earlier this week, Dangerous Kitchen posted a blog post about De Mambo, where they briefly talked about sales so far:
It took a while, but De Mambo finally flew the coop and left its parents very proud. It didn’t light up the world with its blazing glory, but for a game with no marketing budget it did great.
After a well-deserved break (that they used to play Zelda, among other things!), the team began working on the necessary steps for the update. What update, you ask? Well, first of all it’s updates (plural): there’s two of them in the work, and they’re going to add more multiplayer stages and more single player content (with new modes). Developers are also going to implement various things they received as feedback.
More details will be shared at a later date!
