Dai Gyakuten Saiban: the first (free) issue of the Randst magazine now available, videos

Last week, Capcom detailed its plans for the Dai Gyakuten Saiban: Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Bouken DLC, which are basically the same as those for Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. Every week, Capcom is going to release a new issue of the Randst magazine (a name inspired by the Strand Magazine, in which the Sherlock Holmes stories were first published), which basically consists of:

– a short episode written by Shu Takumi himself (just like for Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney)
– beta music
– character voices
– design documents
– more…

Today, the first issue was released, and as announced previously, it’s free until July 19th. To download it, you need at least 199 blocks of free space on your SD Card. There will be a total of 8 issues (not counting this one), which will all cost 300 Yen each. A season pass is available, and costs 2000 Yen, which means you can save up to 400 Yen by buying it.

Finally, here’s two additional videos for the game: one is from Hiro Shimono (voice actor for Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Bouken), the other is from the actors who played as Naruhodou Ryuunosuke and Sherlock Holmes in the TV commercials:

Head after the break for the second video!
