Dai Gyakuten Saiban: official countdown – Day 2

Yesterday, Capcom launched an official countdown campaign for Dai Gyakuten Saiban: Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Bouken. Of course, it’s not a simple clock ticking down until the game’s release, it’s something much more elaborate and amusing called “Naruhodou Ryuunosuke’s Crime-Filled Week”.

Dai Gyakuten Saiban countdown

Every day until the game’s release, Capcom will upload a special video in which Naruhodou Ryuunosuke is on trial for a crime he’s (supposedly) guilty of. Then, fans will have to go on the official website in order to vote: is he Guilty, or Innocent? Apparently, a simple vote is only worth 1 point… but if you do cast one via Twitter, it counts for 100! If there’s enough points at the end of the voting period (100 000), the “Objection” clip for a character will be uploaded.

Results of Day 1

Today, Capcom revealed the results of the first vote, and fans decided that Naruhodou Ryuunosuke was Not Guilty of spoiling the story by revealing that Sherlock Holmes was in the game. The results were: 72 261 points for Guilty, and 137 186 points for Not Guilty. And since enough people voted, Capcom uploaded the voice clip for Naruhodou Ryuunosuke (his “Objection!”)!

Day 2

For Day 2, Naruhodou Ryuunosuke is once again on trial, and this time he’s accused of mispronouncing Mikotoba Susato’s name several times. So… Guilty or not Guilty? Head to the official website in order to cast your vote! It looks like this time, the results won’t be as lopsided as during Day 1, as there’s 19 259 points for Guilty and 19 705 points for Not Guilty at the time of writing.

Here’s the results video for Day 1:

Dai Gyakuten Saiban: Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Bouken (3DS) comes out on July 9th in Japan.
