Cryamore (Wii U): Atlus to publish the game

Developed by NostalgiCO, Cryamore is an “Action-RPG focused on exploration, deep puzzles, and a mystical story.” It was funded back in 2013 in Kickstarter, and it’s coming out next Summer on Wii U, via the Nintendo eShop. Last week, the developers made a pretty big announcement regarding the game: Atlus has picked up publishing duties!

In an update posted on Kickstarter, the developers of Cryamore explain the perks of partnering with Atlus:

• Quality Assurance: Atlus helped them with feedback and suggestions on heavy build-testing and bug reporting.
• Marketing and PR: outside the Kickstarter page, the dev blog and the Twitter account, Atlus will take care of the important public news, which will give Cryamore more visibility while letting the developers focus on development.
• Distribution: Atlus is already connected with the various platform holders, which will make the submission process so much smoother.
• Independence: NostalgiCo keep full control of the IP and the development process, and Atlus’ involvement will not result in a major overhaul of the game or anything.
