[Brief] Girls Mode 3: set of New Year items now available

In Japan, Nintendo has been distributing special clothes for Girls Mode 3: KiraKira Code on a (more or less) regular basis. Today, the latest batch of special clothes and items has been released, and is available via SpotPass. Since 2016 starts in less than a week, it’s no surprise that this new set has a New Year theme!

This time, there’s only two items:

• a special Girls Mode kimono
• a special background that gives you the impression you can see Mt. Fuji from your room.

Unfortunately, we don’t know if those items will ever make it to the European version of the game, Nintendo Presents: New Style Boutique 2 – Fashion Forward. Since Mt. Fuji and Kimono are pretty Japanese-centric things, it doesn’t seem likely…
